Garry Tarr has recently had a fantastic session over on the famous Frimley complex. Setting up in a prime spring area he spread several freebies over a shallow bar. Fishing small white pop ups amongst the ActiveNut feast, he managed to tally up 6 bites on his session!! The icing on the cake was Blackeye common at an impressive 49.10Ib. Stuart Mckernon isn’t one to fish your average waters. Instead he did a 5 night session on a huge french public water. This comes with a whole host of challenges but the rewards are wild potentially uncaught beasts! Armed with his favoured ActiveNut and TMP liquid combo he managed 14 fish!!!! A couple of recent crackers for Lee Hol from the Pride of Derby complex. With his main syndicate shut he headed down to his other ticket. Although having no fished it for a while the fish where no different. Getting on fish and giving them a little and often approach of shrimp and squid soon had the bobbins flying. Only difference this time round was the inclusion of the soon to be released 8mm pop ups as a sight aid, the pastel orange ones doing the trick on this occasion. Finding fish and where they want to feed isn’t something you can buy, but putting something in front of them they want to eat with gusto you certainly can! This immense beast seen here (holding a huge common) is the man behind the phones these days. On a recent trip to carpasens he had an incredible week on the tricky venue. Landing several big carp, but this one eclipsed them all. Fishing a not so fancied area of the lake, but one that Paul knew would suit his style of angling lead to several big fish.
