This particular trip he was supposed to be heading to St.Ives but received word his main target from there had been out. A bit despondent he decided to head back over to the Folly. One of the midlands finest. Bards has been chasing this for a couple of seasons on the low stock pit. Having caught the majority of the stock repeats we’re starting to happen. After being ill and not wanting to infect his household, he headed to the lake. The following morning out the blue Baz was his. What a lovely old black one for Mark Davidson. Fishing the famous Monks pit, Mark fished a mix of Shrimp boilie crumb, fish mix pellet all dosed up with Amino 30. A small shrimp wafter over the top completed the set up. At over 35Ib not a bad way to end the session. Continue reading
Gary Binder made his way to the mighty river Trent for a short 3 hours session. Before he went he soaked some shrimp dumbells and some high oil pellets in our famous Amino 30 liquid. Not long in to the session the rod was hooped over and this 14ib 12oz barbel was the culprit. The Amino 30 is a fantastic additive for the rivers. Being heavy it sits down on the bottom and creeps along with the tow leaving an incredible scent trail on the deck where the barbel are feeding. Good angling mate well done Continue reading

After catching his main target on his first bite, Wez decided to carry on and try and catch a few more of the lakes gems. It didn’t take long and Wez caught pretty much every week there after.
