Callum’s been back out catching consistently as usual. Fishing with his favoured shrimp with one of our lovely little pink balls over the top has kept the bobbins dancing. Well done mate Continue reading
Matty Bennett has been out on a trip to the famous Savay recently. Fishing plenty of shrimp with matching hookbaits over the top temped 7 bites in 3 nights. At 47Ib spud here was a definite highlight, what a fish! Continue reading
There’s no doubting the effectiveness of certain baits but sometimes when your trying to catch that one particular “big n”, a good old fashioned boilie approach can reign supreme. This is exactly how John Hill caught blind eye at over 43lb. This fish loves a bit of shrimp and has been caught several times on it. Again reiterating a good food source won’t blow.Fishing over a big bed (eventually 15kg over the session) this one came and was passing the shrimp all over the sling.A lovely character and a good bit of angling to catch it.Well done pal never in doubt. We haven’t seen Wesley much of recent due to not fishing too much but when a certain ticket came up he got his arse back in gear.In true Wez style he hit the ground running and has already racked up multiple fish. This cracking original common being just one!Wez is meticulous with his fishing and is a fantastic “spot” finder he could find 3 pieces of gravel where there aren’t any!!His favoured squid approach doing him proud. Plenty more to come we reckon! Continue reading
Baz has had a phenomenal spring so far on the beautiful Northy Park. Catching many of the residents on various methods but the one key variable apart from his effort was the choice of bait. It’s pretty common knowledge the Northy fish absolutely love our shrimp but you still have to get the other bits right as Baz so often does. At over 40ib Crater is one of the most sought after in the lake and fell to 15 spombs of crushed and whole shrimp. Well done mate. Continue reading
Since Mr. Vallery had gotten his lake 5/6 ticket on the lovely Woolpack complex, he has true to form bagged from the off. Having a fantastic spring on a variety of tactics. This particular fish he was particularly buzzed up for and rightly so. One of the real old characters known as the carving made his night at a healthy 42Ib. A shrimp pop up over a scattering of matching freebies tempted this one in to a mistake. With a few more to share already and some of the nicest fish around still to catch, watch this space …. Lee Allison has been enjoying some consistent success over the lovely Bleasby Syndicate in Notts. His ever faithful shrimp attack has been the downfall to many of the lakes residents already. Rumour has it he’s sat there as we speak on another hit of fish………..Good skills as always Lee. Continue reading
John Glenn is relatively new to our range but has caught from the off!! These 2 crackers were caught on a social match from the Yately area. Armed with all manner or baits including maggots, casters etc he decided to fish a rod on just shrimp boilie. The result was 2 bites, 2 mega ones and the match winning weight. We do love a good old fashioned boilie approach which although relatively simple can be deadly.Well done John were expecting lots of captures from you my man. Yet another cracking fish to add to his impressive album for Mr.Salmons. The only thing lovelier than his album, is his new beautiful little girl so congratulations from the Trent Baits family This Northamptonshire gem slipped up on a guest session for James on a carefully placed shrimp cork ball pop up. Although his fishing has taken a back seat and rightly so, whispers have it he’s already bagged a banger on his first trip back Good skills as ever mate Continue reading
