Young Cam recently went out armed with a mixture of squid and shrimp stabilised bait he picked up from the Trent Baits shop. @carpzoo is home to some of the best fishing in france and is one of our favourite venues. Having not fished a spring before, an April trip invite was too much of a pull to turn down. Dan was fishing one swim in the day and another by night opting to leave the main area free of lines and a free feed for the fish. This worked perfectly as not 20 mins after putting the rod out after tea one of the lakes characters was pulling the rod of the rest. Some result for John Hill a couple of weeks ago. Fishing the Cambs syndicate for only his 3rd trip. Fishing in the deep with a heavily TMP soaked white nut pop over ActiveNut mulch. Just before dark he got a steady take and in no time was expertly guided in to the net. At 45.08ib brushstrokes was in lovely condition, a cracking Feb capture. Well done mate never in doubt.
