@carpzoo is home to some of the best fishing in france and is one of our favourite venues. Having not fished a spring before, an April trip invite was too much of a pull to turn down.
Dan was fishing one swim in the day and another by night opting to leave the main area free of lines and a free feed for the fish. This worked perfectly as not 20 mins after putting the rod out after tea one of the lakes characters was pulling the rod of the rest. A simple shrimp wafter over around 3kg of freebies was enough to temp this 63.14ib beast.
