Trent Baits
Shaun Gateley
Shaun Gateley’s good run continues with his 3rd UK 50 in the last 11 months after his capture of the ‘Fat Lady’ at a massive 57lb 8oz. The camb’s biggie incredibly fell to Shaun’s rods on only his 3rd night on the venue, as usual Shaun put his faith in our Freshwater Shrimp Boilies and was again duly rewarded.
Craig Stevenson
The highlight of a recent trip to Savay was this new PB common for Craig Stevenson. The impressive 46lb 10oz fish was tempted with our Freshwater Shrimp boiles and was the larger of two fish caught during the session.
Oli Bowles
Oli Bowles with his Cambridgeshire gravel pit lake record common. This is a real character fish known as the ‘Humpy Common’ the 46lb 6oz fish was the second of a brace of fish.
Liver Shellfish
Oli Bowles
What can you say about a fish like this….. its just awesome, add to that the fact it comes from a Cambridgeshire gravel pit and was braced with the 46lb common above and you will appreciate what a result it is again on the Liver Shellfish.
Danny Bruton
Danny Bruton, with his mint Linear from a Cambridgeshire gravel pit at 36lb+ another stunner on the ‘Liver Shellfish’
Oli Bowles
Oli Bowles again with another of his fish. Liver Shellfish tempting this classic looking Low 30 mirror.
Danny B
This mirror is known as the ‘Wood Carving’ has to be the pick of Danny B’s fish from the Nene Valley pit he has been fishing. Danny has caught consistently well from the water with a number of good fish including a new PB common, but this 34lb 10oz mirror must eclipse all that and really lives up to its name. All Danny ‘s Nene valley fish falling for the Liver Shellfish.
Mark Bodell
Mark bodel with the awesome ‘Bite Mark’ caught at a Hugh 49lb 14oz from a large oxfordshire gravel Pit. Freshwater Shrimp Boilies doing the business for mark again.
Daz Blunt
Darren Blunt with the highly sought after big linear from Longfields legendary Road Lake. The big mirror was looking pristine at 42lb+. Darren rates his ‘Pukka Linear’ the best fish he has seen on the bank!
The Road lake is notoriously tricky but Darren has banked a number of good fish from there on the Freshwater Shrimp this year.
Dave Ellyatt
You will struggle to find a better example of an old Leaney mirror than this anywhere! This stunning old warrior caught by Dave Ellyatt on the Liver Shellfish looks ancient and is almost certainly older than its captor.
Mark Bodell
Another mint Oxfordshire mirror for Mark Bodell this one weighing in at 42lb 14oz. Freshwater Shrimp boilies yet again………… what more can we say?
Wez
A massive French Mirror of 74lb for Wesley Savage from Nottingham and Wes’s brief account of his trip!

"I just want to say thanks for the bait, it’s absolutely awesome! I love it!!!
I got back from mar peche last night and managed to bag a new lake recorded on a VERY hard week. 8 anglers on and only 5 fish landed... 3 too me :) I managed a 46lb, 48lb 10oz and RAMBO @ 74lb 04oz, all fish fell to a 14mm Liver pop-up glugged up & fished in a solid bag over boilie crumb, liver pellet and liver groundbait"
Dave Ellyatt
Dave Ellyatt has sent us a few pics of some lovely old and scaly mirrors which he has caught on the Trent Baits range of boilies this summer. Here is a cracking 32lb 14oz mirror from a large gravel pit.
Luke
A pristine mirror for Luke brooks from a summer trip to France. This is Luke’s own account of his trip………... Here are the best fish of my trip to France last week. The cut tail mirror at 41.10 and 40.06lb common topped a 20 fish haul of 2x 40's, 1x30 (the best looking fish of the week- the dark chestnut fish with cluster scales), 11x 20's, 5 doubles and a sturgeon. I also lost 12 fish. All fish fell to home rolled SSD and mixed pellets. The quality of the bait was evidence as it was the best catch for several weeks on a water that almost exclusively see's ** *****’s bait. The owner didn't think SSD had been used on the venue before, so it’s obviously pretty instantly attractive. It was 37 degrees everyday. Thanks for contributing to a great week! Luke Brooks
Shaun Gateley
After his capture of Choco at 53lb at the back end of 2009 Shaun Gateleys next fish, his first of 2010 was this chunky 50lb 10oz mirror caught in freezing conditions from a southern stillwater. What makes this capture all the more special is this was Shauns first trip to the water and he banked the fish within a few hours of arriving.
